We couldn't be prouder of the incredible showing from our U7s players at the Rosslyn Park Festival today! We sent three teams into the mix, and each and every player stepped up to the plate with skill, grit, and a fantastic attitude, writes Head Coach Owen Williams.
While the action on the pitch was top-tier, this festival was about so much more than just the scoreline. Throughout the day, officials were keeping a close eye on TREDS; the core values published by the RFU:
Excellence On and Off the Field
Our players didn't just play hard; they represented the very best of our club’s culture. Whether it was helping an opponent up, respecting the referee’s whistle, or cheering each other on through every try and tag, our teams were true ambassadors of the Warlingham badge and of rugby itself.
The feedback from the organisers was glowing. In fact, your conduct and performance were so impressive that out of nine highly competitive teams in the age group, our club finished 3rd overall in the U7s age group.
It was a brilliant day of rugby that reminded us all why we love this sport. Keep that attitude and momentum going through to the end of the season!
