Our Under-8s performed admirably at their second festival of the season. Despite an early start, all three teams showed fantastic spirit and improvement with every game, building on the momentum from last week’s outing at Guildford.

Strong attacking and defensive lines were on display throughout the day, as the players began to make full use of the width of the pitch and link up beautifully to run in tries as a team.

We’ll take a few lessons forward — mainly around maintaining our defensive lines and not breaking ranks too soon, as well as quick, accurate, and early passing — but overall, it was another great step forward in their rugby journey. A huge thank-you to all the parents for their brilliant support on the sidelines once again.
