Sarah Fosberry was with our U11s, as they continued their final season of Minis at the Richmond Festival before things get a bit more serious in the Junior section.

“Richmond is one of the festivals in the U11’s calendar that we always enjoy and once again it did not disappoint.
There was once again a high standard that tested both our teams, but they all rose to the challenge in front of them. The teamwork on display saw strong and determined game play, there were some matches where they were losing at half time where they worked together to turn around and win.

There was some great kicking by Jack, Daniel and Brodie which took many teams by surprise; awesome power runs from Hugo, Sid, Francesca and Theo. We were certainly dominating in the rucks and scrums, keeping possession and winning that ball back, seeing Will, Jasper, and Beatrice on top form.

There was great running and stepping from Lawrence, Magnus, Abraham, Ieuan and Henry along with some lovely handling and brave runs from James, Thomas, Michael and George.

All this saw both teams finish the tournament undefeated. Big well done to everyone involved this weekend - but we don’t stop there, now for some home training to further work on those skills.”
