A huge performance from the Colts, who came up against a strong, physical side and produced a display full of intensity, passion and determination to come out deserved winners, writes team manager Kate Thompson.

From the opening whistle, Warlingham played with real purpose. The intensity was there across the pitch, but what was particularly impressive was the precision and execution of the rugby. Moves that have been worked on relentlessly throughout pre-season came together when it mattered, with the boys showing composure, confidence and a real understanding of how they wanted to play.

Warlingham crossed the line five times, with tries from Tom, Will, Henry and two from Charlie. Cooper was faultless from the tee, converting all five tries and adding the finishing touches to an excellent team performance.

But this was about far more than the points on the scoreboard. Every player contributed, in defence, at the breakdown, in support, and in the work off the ball. The boys played for one another and showed exactly the intensity and passion that this group has been building throughout pre-season.

A superb performance and thoroughly deserved. After all the work that has gone into rebuilding this group and creating something special, this was a performance the whole squad can be incredibly proud of.
