Seniors weren’t the only ones out on the fields this weekend, our U15s had run outs too! Junior Chair and U15s coach, Matt Talboys filed the following bulletin.
Sunday saw the return to the field of play for the U15s in what turned out to be a tale of two games. The B team went and played Crawley A team in Sussex to discover that they had all grown at least 2 feet since last season, which lead to us being bullied off the ball by big carries from the oppo, with the lads going down by 45 points. The team showed resilience throughout and kept their heads up until the final whistle, with some stand out performances - especially the debutants, Ollie Evans and Harry Ducker, who looked great in the blue and white.
The A team took on Camberley at home with a truly dominant performance against a strong opposition. The blue and white scored early and it kept coming with a series of very strong carries, a scrum that only went forward winning our own and opposition ball, great mauls off the lineout, and some lovely back play into space. Stand out performances all round from the team including the two debutants Max Crouch (yes son of one of Trinity’s finest), and Francis Bradbury.
