Touch rugby is back in full swing at Warlingham RFC, with two fun, social and welcoming ways to get involved at the club.
On Tuesday evenings from 6:30pm, Warly Touch returns following the end of the senior contact season. This is a relaxed, informal version of touch rugby, shaped by the senior players as a brilliant way to keep fit, stay connected and enjoy some midweek rugby without the bumps and bruises of the regular season. It is open to all adults, abilities and genders, whether you have played for years or are completely new to the game.
For those looking for something a little more structured, Warlingham Wildcards continue to run their regular FIT Touch sessions on Wednesday evenings. Played to established FIT rules, Wildcards offer a great route into the wider world of Touch Rugby, with training, games, local tournaments and even an annual international touch tour. As with Warly Touch, this is open to all!
The Wildcards are also hosting a free Touch Rugby Taster Day at Warlingham Rugby Club on Saturday 6 June at 2pm. The session is open to all adults (18+), men and women, with no previous rugby experience needed. Just wear comfortable kit and trainers, come ready to move, and enjoy a fun, non-contact 90-minute introduction to the game. Afterwards, players can stick around for a free BBQ, with the club bar open too.
Whether you are after a casual runaround, a new fitness routine, a social midweek boost or a route into proper Touch Rugby, there is now something for everyone at Warlingham.
