On Sunday we held our annual Minis Festival, with 42 teams from eight Surrey and Kent clubs descending on Hamsey Green to turn the place into a true spectacle of rugby! Held in memory of a long-standing club player, supporter, committee member and coach, Mark Bright, the festival celebrated everything Brighty stood for.
As Minis Chairman Matt Whittle said on the day:
“Brighty believed in competition, and he believed in TREDS and he believed in every one of these kids - and we are really proud to stand here today and deliver a festival that Mark would have been proud of.”
Thank you to every player, coach, volunteer stallholder, and family who made the day so memorable. Brighty’s spirit was everywhere - in the smiles, the teamwork, and the love of the game.
