After three years behind the lens as Warlingham’s resident club photographer, alongside capturing the journey of Gibraltar Rugby and the development of the game across our local rugby community, Hayley Sasserath’s photography has recently received some fantastic recognition from England Rugby.

Hayley, who is also our Women and Girls Chair, was invited to feature in England Rugby’s Community Galleries series, putting together a selection of some of her favourite images from her time photographing the game. The resulting portfolio was one to be proud of, reaching over 5.5k views, 260 likes and 50 new followers.

“This feature was super unexpected, and I’m really proud to know that my work has reached wider communities. I love what I do, and it’s really cool to be able to share that with a new audience.”

And there was another brilliant part to the story. When asked how they discovered Hayley’s work, England Rugby simply replied: “Through Warlingham’s Instagram!”

A huge win not only for Hayley, but for the work of our social media team, showing just how far the club’s digital presence can help our people and our story reach.
