Free Cardiac Screening for Ages 14–35

Warlingham RFC

Find out how to register for notifications about upcoming screening appointments in your area

With hundreds of young players enjoying rugby at Warlingham every week, keeping our young people healthy and safe is always a priority, both on and off the pitch.

Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY) is a national charity working to prevent sudden cardiac deaths in young people through awareness, research and screening.

CRY offers free cardiac screening at its public events for young people aged 14–35, helping to identify potentially serious heart conditions that might otherwise go undetected, even in fit and active individuals.

Screening involves a simple, painless electrocardiogram (ECG), which checks the heart's electrical activity. Further tests may be offered if required.
For our teenage players, young adults and their families, this is a valuable service worth knowing about.

Interested in getting screened? CRY invites you to register your interest online, selecting your preferred regions (such as London and the South East). You'll then receive notifications when screening appointments become available to book in those areas.
