Ian Porter reports on our U9s trip to the Richmond Minis Festival:
“The under 9’s travelled to Richmond on Sunday for an action-packed day of rugby. This was their second festival in as many weeks and they showed great improvement in their tackling which they have been working hard on in training.
In true Warlingham tradition, the u9s played fast, exciting, attacking rugby against some tough competition. Not only did the boys and girls play great rugby, they also represented the club to the highest standard, respecting TREDS, something the coaching team has been working hard on.
There were some big gaps between the games, which allowed time for our new players to get to know and bond with their new team mates, and hopefully they made some great memories.
As always, the young players made their parents, family and coaches proud. Well done Warly!”
