After an historic 'le Crunch' victory the night before in Stade de France (an albeit slightly bigger stadium than the Stade de Cipale in the Bois De Vincennes) our U14 boys got straight down to business after a slight delay, and did us proud.
Playing on the 4G pitch against a notably smaller and in some cases younger opposition who despite their stature were terrier like in the attack, never feigning a tackle or aiming too high. We were able to try some interesting new combinations within the time frame, playing a game of 15s, 3 periods of 7s, 2 of 8s and another of 15s.
A great feast laid on by all the host parents ended off a fabulous day, weekend and tour experience. Well done to all the parents and coaches who helped officiate, assist, chef, pod manage, remain calm and all worked well looking after all our boys plus Frank.
Bravo et merci
