Bravo and Enhorabuena to the 2001 Warly boys. Last night's action on the very cold (and muddy) Warlingham plateau saw a mix of the U15s and U14s face the Madrid tourists from 'CD Arquitectura Rugby'
After a promising start, set by a blistering pace, where the apparently slightly smaller sized opposition was amply made up for with some hard fought tackling, tenacious activity in the loose and above all, excellent handling Warly wore them down and settled into their game. At half time, switching the teams around and bringing on the bulk of the U15s sealed the victory.
Well done boys and well done to all parents who braved the cold, and contributed to the provisioning for the boys.
Madrid in Spring for the return visit anyone?
