Congratulations too to both Jovian and Keyan who were awarded Player of the Week.

Hi all,

A great training session last weekend with Dorking, and great to see our kids very engaged and playing well.

Congratulations too to both Jovian and Keyan who were awarded Player of the Week.

This Sunday – AWAY TRAINING at Old Reigatian RFC. 9.45 – 11.30am
· This coming Sunday, 21st February, we have an away training session at Old Reigatian RFC.

· Directions are on the attached PDF map, and also at: http://oldreigatianrfc.com/directions

· They play at Geoffrey Knight Fields, Park Lane, Reigate, RH2 8JX (opposite Priory Park).

· Parking at the club is very limited, and offered on a first-come-first served basis, so please arrive early! If full you will be redirected back into Reigate to one of the town centre car parks (about 5 mins walk away).

· Whilst the session starts at 10am, please aim to arrive at the pitch at about 9.45 – 9.50am so that we’re tagged up and ready to start on time.

· Their U7s training area is the furthest away from the club house. If you walk in front of the club house, across the "floodlight" pitch and through the gap in the hedge, we will be at the far end of the pitch.

· Their coaches recommend "draining" the players first as there are no facilities near the pitch, and it is a trek back for coffees for parents.

Saracens v Quins match at Wembley – 16th April:
· A reminder again about the Saracens v Quins match in April. Details below and on the attached document:

o A reminder again that we’ve got the opportunity to get tickets for Quins v Saracens at Wembley on 16th April. Kick off at 3.15, but the show starts at 2pm. Tickets are priced from only £20 for adults and £7.50 for Junior (U16), and is should be a great day out. Hopefully Quins will be able to pull off another win against Saracens like they did last weekend.

o Warlingham RFC is also on the list for the Pride in Unity Parade at Wembley and details regarding timings and logistics will be circulated nearer the date of the match. This is a parade of minis and juniors around the stadium prior to kick off, usually whilst the players are warming up. Each club in the parade is given a banner with their club name on and the boys/girls parade behind it. There is no maximum amount that can join the parade but there is a minimum of 20/25 kids. This is a unique experience that will live long in the memories of the kids – being pitch side inside a national stadium on a match day!

o If you book tickets to the match and would like your U7 son / daughter to participate in the pre-match parade please add their names to this doodle poll so that we know who’s going: http://doodle.com/poll/kh5ia5fd77nndatg

New players:
· We have a number of new players who’ve joined since Christmas. A reminder that you:

o Need to register on the club website (this is free)

o Give me your email / phone number / child’s name and date of birth

o Have three free trail sessions and will then need to pay your subscriptions. There is a reduced rate of £45 for the remainder of the season until May.

· We have a closed Warlingham U7s Facebook group, so please sign up for updates / photos etc: https://www.facebook.com/groups/WarlinghamRFC.U7s/

Hope that’s all clear, but any questions give me a call. Old Reigatians have about 30-40 U7s, so look forward to seeing as many of you as possible on Sunday so that we can have great training session with them.

Thanks, Rob
