Last Wednesday night, the Warlingham Wildcards Touch squad and our friends from the Chipstead Flames swapped their usual kit for pirate gear to celebrate International Talk Like a Pirate Day.

There were bandanas, eye patches, and even the odd cutlass as both teams took to the pitch for some swashbuckling touch rugby, followed by a BBQ with plenty o’grog, and plenty o’ laughs. Arrr, who says pirates can’t play Touch?

If you fancy playing a non-contact variant of the sport we’re all here for, then come along and try out our mixed-gender Touch sessions every Wednesday night from 7.30pm, all hands (and hooks!) are welcome.
