With sub-zero temperatures affecting rugby clubs up and down the country, the Minis and Junior sections still turned out in numbers last Sunday to pay their respects to Mark Bright.
Despite frozen pitches, plenty of rugby was still had. Obstacle courses were set up, Duck Duck Goose and Bulldog were played, and smiles were everywhere, helped along by the novelty of snowy ground underfoot.

As 11am approached, age groups gathered on the 1st Team Pitch and formed a line facing the clubhouse. Matt Whittle delivered a touching eulogy, before 60 seconds of complete silence fell across the grounds. The club Union Jack, flying at half-mast, stirred gently in the cold air.

When the silence ended, applause broke out. Cheers followed, with Mark’s name called out loud, before the youngest members of the Warly family headed back in from the cold together.
The club would like to extend a huge thank you to Matt Whittle for giving the Minis and Juniors the opportunity to honour Mark, surrounded by teammates and friends.
