First Aid Training for the Whole Warly Family

Warlingham RFC19 Nov - 17:30

Courses for adults and children coming in early 2026 — sign up or register your interest today.

Warlingham RFC is strengthening its commitment to player welfare and community safety with two upcoming first aid training opportunities for adults and children.

Emergency First Aid at Work – Sign Up Now

Our Safeguarding Officer, Helen Hammond, is pleased to confirm a new Emergency First Aid at Work course taking place at the club on Saturday 10th January 2026, from 09:00–16:00.

This training provides nationally recognised first aid certification — an invaluable qualification for parents, coaches and team volunteers supporting our Minis, Juniors, Colts and Seniors and is the RFU’s minimum first aid requirement for pitchside first aid.

  • Date: Saturday 10th January 2026
  • Time: 09:00–16:00
  • Spaces: Limited to 12 (first come, first served)
  • Register here: https://forms.gle/Ef6SykKVm7MvMUmd6
  • Queries: safeguarding@warlinghamrfc.com

Children’s First Aid Course – Expressions of Interest

In addition to the above, we are exploring plans to introduce basic lifesaving skills training for our Minis and Juniors (ages 7–16). This would be a 4-hour introductory course, giving young players the confidence to help in emergencies and providing each participant with a certificate of attendance.

This idea was sparked by a brilliant parent suggestion, and we are currently finalising details with a course provider, including potential funding options (please note: funding is not guaranteed).

Families interested in this opportunity are invited to register their interest here:

Provisional dates are being planned for early 2026, with full details to follow as soon as they are confirmed.

Thank you to everyone supporting these initiatives — together we’re helping make our club a safer, more confident community.
